LSMC Terms of Service

Acceptance
By accessing or using LSMC services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so.
Authorized Users
LSMC services are intended only for authorized users, customers, collaborators, contractors, and personnel approved by LSMC or by an organization authorized to use LSMC services.
Access may be suspended, limited, or revoked at any time for security, operational, contractual, legal, or compliance reasons.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and credentials. You agree not to share credentials or attempt to access systems, data, or accounts for which you are not authorized.
You must promptly report suspected unauthorized access, credential compromise, or security incidents to security@lsmc.bio.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- attempt unauthorized access to any LSMC system, account, data, or network;
- interfere with or disrupt service operation;
- circumvent authentication, authorization, audit, network, or security controls;
- upload malicious software or harmful content;
- misuse, disclose, copy, or access data belonging to other users or organizations without authorization;
- use the services in violation of applicable law, regulation, contract, or policy; or
- attempt to reverse engineer, scan, test, or probe LSMC systems except as expressly authorized in writing.
Data and Content
You retain rights to data that you or your organization lawfully submit to LSMC services.
You grant LSMC the rights necessary to store, process, analyze, transmit, display, secure, audit, support, and otherwise operate the services with respect to that data, subject to applicable agreements and law.
Restricted Access Services
Some LSMC services are gated and may be available only through approved accounts, approved networks, VPNs, private networks, or other access-control mechanisms. Public availability of a login page, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, or homepage does not grant access to restricted application services.
No Medical Advice
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement, LSMC services do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or clinical interpretation directly to end users.
Service Availability
Services are provided on an as-available basis. LSMC may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue services or access to services at any time.
Confidentiality
You may receive access to confidential, proprietary, laboratory, genomic, operational, or customer information through LSMC services. You agree to use such information only for authorized purposes and to protect it from unauthorized access or disclosure.
Termination
LSMC may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, suspected misuse, security risk, operational need, contractual requirement, or legal obligation.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LSMC services are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or error-free operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LSMC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity arising from or relating to use of the services.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the services after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
